Dr Jean-Pierre Beauchemin hosts between 60 to 80 conferences a year on various geriatric subjects: urinary incontinence, hypertension, heart failure, dyslipidemia, dementia, delirium, benign prostatic hypertrophy, violence in geriatrics, drug-related iatrogenia, osteoporosis, Parkinson's disease, periodical medical check-up, orthostatic hypotension, falls in geriatrics, ethics, diabetes, loss of autonomy, pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches to behavioural problems.



Numerous publications on urinary incontinence, hypertension, falls in elderly, diabetic foot, insomnia in geriatrics, benzodiazepines in geriatrics, violence against the elderly, dementia, Parkinson's disease, etc.

Chapter on hypertension in elderly people in the third edition of the Précis pratique de gériatrie by Arcand and Hébert, published in 2007.
